COURSE 1 Design Processes

Design Processes

The course Design Processes will introduce you to the foundations of interior design and decoration process and development. You will produce a range of samples and concept realisations which show the creative application of processes to 2- dimensional forms, having gained knowledge of the design process as it applies to 2D work. You’ll learn to generate concepts and ideas that provide innovative solutions to identified issues.

COURSE 2 Design Methods

Design Methods

The course Design Methods combines the research, identification, exploration and communication of conceptual ideas of products and spaces, through the adaptation of design elements and principles in form and space you will satisfy specific needs for a design brief. In this course, you’ll produce a range of samples or concept realisations which show the creative application of processes to three-dimensional forms, and demonstrate knowledge of the design process as it applies to 3D work.

COURSE OUTLINE

Start date: Weekly intakes.

Study type: Online with appointed educator.

Duration: 20 weeks’ access to your course through our online learning platforms. The recommended course duration is 60 to 80 hours of study.

Units of competency in this course: BSBDES302 / BSBCRT301 / BSBDES502 / BSBDES303 / BSBDES401.

Online Course Delivery: This course is delivered by the International School of Colour and Design on behalf of the Academy Information Technology (RTO: 90511).

Your personal educator: Upon enrolment, you’ll be allocated an experienced educator from the International School of Colour and Design who will mentor and support you throughout the course.

Certification: This course bundle incorporates nationally recognised units of competency which are accredited through the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). Provided an eligible student has supplied the required enrolment information and has been assessed as competent, a Statement of Attainment for the appropriate units of competency will be issued.
